My studio Cum-bye arts - is based in the popular Craven Arts House centre in Skipton, North Yorkshire. It’s slightly off the main High Street in a former school, with the Craven Court shopping mall, coffee shops and Skipton Town Council Offices close by. You can round off your visit by enjoying excellent coffee and treats from the nearby Bean Loved, eat at The Bistro or many other local cafes, or visit The Albion Pub close by.

Craven Arts

is an arts charity and a leading centre for our creative community. Supported by The Art Shop, our artists feature elsewhere in the town including Mill Bridge Gallery, The Frame Shop, Magpie Collectables and the Town Hall Gallery. Many attend Skipton's nationally acclaimed Art in the Pen and Crafts in the Pen events, and feature at the monthly Artisan Markets by the canal. In 2025 Craven Arts is hosting the hugely popular North Yorkshire Open Studios (NYOS) Showcase Exhibition and its annual arts trails.

Why

I continue to support established and aspiring Artists and Makers locally. I had been a leading member of the well-known Gargrave Art Exhibition for many years; I am now the membership representative on the Board of Trustees of Craven Arts.

I’ve exhibited at The Folly Museum and Coffee House, Settle; Badger in the Wall Gallery, Clapham, and joined featured artists at Dales Countryside Museum, Hawes; plus Cliffe Castle, Keighley and the National Park Centre at Malham … now in 2025 … with Craven Arts and North Yorkshire Open Studios, I shall consolidate what has become really popular, and focus on new ideas and fresh perspectives.
