Working in watercolour with unusual techniques for landscapes, I also focus on British sheep breeds and how each of them contribute to our dramatic northern uplands.
About me
I have been a watercolour artist practicing in Yorkshire and Lancashire for the past 20+ years. My art expresses my feelings about a subject rather than being truly representational. I am moved by the intensity of J. M. W. Turner's ethereal paintings and modern day artist Michael Morgan who challenged watercolour ‘rules’ with their loose and evocative styles. I now work from my Studio in Craven Arts House in Skipton.
