In bye lands

The rich mosaic of wall boundaries, field and hedge line patterns were created by an historic agrarian economy spearheaded by the enclosure processes of past centuries. These features remain at the heart of my artistic practice, supported by signature colours that reflect the diversity of the natural vegetation that thrives in the Yorkshire Dales.
